Thanks for shopping with The Department of Illumination. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
We do not accept returns or exchanges on merchandise, except in the case of a manufacturer defect (see below).
DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If your item arrives with a manufacturer defect, contact us within 15 days of your purchase date and we will make it right. You may choose either:
• A full refund to your original payment method, or
• A replacement of the same item (subject to availability).
To start a defect claim, email office@deptofillumination.com with your order number, a description of the defect, and a photo of the item. We may ask you to return the defective item before issuing a refund or replacement.
After 15 days, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement for any reason.
NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

• Class, workshop, or program sign-up costs
• Donations
