The Delhi Park Pageant is a large-scale community spectacle weaving together art, music and performances to create a stunning, immersive celebration of Delhi Park’s past, present and future. The Pageant will take place in the park on Saturday August 23 beginning at 6 PM, featuring original music by Annelise Noronha, Lisa Bozikovic, and The Department’s ABC Choir, led by Sam Hirst. With a cast of almost 40 community members, the pageant is a love letter to Picton's green gem and includes choreography by Allison Nichol as well as masks, puppets and banners created by our team of artists. The script was written by Artistic Director Krista Dalby, who is directing the production as well.
Admission is free although donations are welcome. If driving use Lalor Street entrance, performance will take place across from the community gardens. Rain date is Sunday August 24.
