The Delhi Park Pageant

A magical love letter to Picton’s green gem, Delhi Park. The first pageant was presented in the summer of 2025, to a crowd of upwards of 400 people and received thunderous applause!

The Delhi Park Pageant was the culmination of our residency in the park in the Summer of 2025. Together, our cast and crew of 50+ people told the story of the park through story and song. Written and directed by Krista Dalby, the pageant was performed in August on a grassy stage under the cottonwood trees. A crowd of more than 400 adults and children gathered on blankets, benches, and chairs, buzzing with anticipation.

The story is delivered by the Warden of the Wilds, who has watched over the land since the beginning of time. It was a moving tale that explored Picton's roots, the stewardship of the land before settlement, and the evolution of Delhi Park. The pageant's message is simple:

Take care of each other, take care of the land.
